It takes quality equipment to produce a quality powder coat finish. And if the necessary equipment is not available, we design it ourselves. That's how our one-of-a-kind automatic powder tunnel came to be.  This technology allows us to flow powder far more uniformly than traditional equipment and gives us a unique ability to hand spray translucent powders directly over chrome with a bond stronger than the chrome bond has to the steel.

Our large warehouse space permits us to efficiently process large production runs, as well as smaller custom runs. PK Design uses no shortcuts, and will never ship out a product with a finish we are not proud of.  Our growth has been from word of mouth and that’s only because we refuse to provide anything less than the best possible finish for our customers products.

Pretreatment for coating is as important as the coating itself. Pretreatment is essential to ensure both product longevity and outstanding appearance. It is a production step that cannot be compromised. At PK Design, pretreatment receives the highest priority. We know that powder coating is only as good as the care taken to properly treat the products prior to coating. We have the engineering experience, know-how, and equipment to properly pre-treat your products and allow your products to benefit from a truly durable powder coat finish.

In-house media blasting,  using sand, aluminum oxide, glass bead, steel shot, garnet, or plastic media. We make sure to use the right media for the job.
